1990s Burgundy Viscose Crepe Three-Piece Pant Suit

This 1990s Sonia Rykiel three-piece pantsuit was made in France of unlined burgundy 66% acetate/34% viscose crepe. It consists of a long jacket, a sleeveless top, and high-waisted trousers.
The jacket has an inverted pleat at the back, and thin shoulder pads for structure. It fastens with a tie at the left side. The two front pockets and one breast pocket are all still sewn shut. There are five "SR"-signed hammered gold-tone metal buttons on each cuff. The box-cut top slips over the wearer's head and fastens with two buttons at the back of the neck. The trousers are wide leg, with a pleat down each leg and a pocket on each side. They fasten with a zipper fly and button at the waistband. An extra button is included.
There is some discolouration to the crepe on the jacket and under the arms of the top. It isn't very visible while being worn due to how the fabric reflects light, but we have adjusted the price accordingly. It is otherwise in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
