1989-90 F/W Mustard Wool & Black Velvet Skirt Suit

This 1989-90 F/W Karl Lagerfeld skirt suit was made in France of lined mustard yellow wool. The plaid version of the blazer jacket was featured on that season's runway. It features a low-cut neckline with rounded lapels and black cotton velvet trim. It has two front pockets, rolled-up cuffs and a 5.5" vent at the back. Four "KL"-signed buttons fasten the front. The high-waisted pencil skirt fastens at the back with a zipper and shell button at the waistband. There is a small nick in the wool on the upper left sleeve, a small hole on the right side of the chest and few discreet spots on the back, but it is otherwise in very good condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
