Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture
1973 S/S Documented White Linen Safari-Style Blazer
Sold Out
This 1973 S/S Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture blazer was handmade in France at Saint Laurent's Paris atelier, featured in Vogue Paris and originally sold at Holt Renfrew. It's a more structured version of his iconic safari jacket. There is no fabric content tag, but it has a linen feel and is likely a blend. It features structured shoulders, a pointed collar and a silk lining. The buttons are white with a gold rim, with three fastening the front, one on each cuff and one closing each of the four front pockets.
Overall in very good condition, but the right cuff is missing a button and there is a yellow stain on the lining (see the last two photos.) It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
