1970s Black Silk Ruffle Tie-Neck Top

This Yves Saint Laurent haute couture button up top was sewn entirely by hand in Saint Laurent's atelier in Paris. We're unsure of the exact era but we believe it to be from the 1970s. It's made of an unlined black silk with a ruffle neck and cap sleeves. It does up the front with seven abalone shell buttons. The silk around the edges have worn down in some areas and there's a small hole on the right shoulder, near the collar (see the last photo.) Otherwise, it's in very good condition, has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
