1988 S/S Documented Red Cotton Gold Button Blazer

A bold 1980’s structured YSL blazer, made with durable red cotton in a flattering shape, with large built in shoulder pads and fitted waist, accented by the bold deep v neck and large gold metal buttons. One gold button and one inner metal snap enclose the front at the waist, with three gold buttons extending up on each side of the v neck. Each sleeve cuff features three gold buttons as well, extending up the forearm. With two shallow pockets the front on the waist. The effect is not unlike contemporary Balmain jacket styles. This piece was originally sold at Bergdorf Goodman, New York.
