This 1977 S/S Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche sleeveless corset top is the iconic design that was first featured in Saint Laurent's 1976-77 F/W "Opéras - Ballets russes" couture collection, also known as the legendary Russian Collection. It was then brought back for the 1977 S/S "Les Espagnoles et les Romantiques" ready-to-wear collection, and featured heavily on that runway in multiple colors.
It was made in France of unlined black cotton, with a lace-up front with tassel ends, a peplum waist, and braided straps and trim. It'sin very good condition, has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
