1977 S/S Rose Print Black Polished Cotton Full Skirt

This Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche rose print full skirt is from his iconic 1977 S/S Spanish Collection. It was made in France of black polished cotton with a red ruffle lining that adds fullness to the skirt. A version was photographed by Gian Paolo Barbieri for Vogue France and it was also photographed for Oliviero Toscani for Vogue Italia. This one has a tie belt that's sewn on at the back, a pocket at each side and a metal Eclair zipper fastening the left side with a hook-and-eye.  It appears that the waistband has been altered but the skirt is otherwise in excellent condition, seeming to have had very little wear. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
