1977 S/S Blue & Black Floral Print Silk Peasant Set

This Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche floral print peasant blouse and skirt set is from the 1977 S/S Spanish Collection, formally known as "Les Espagnoles et les Romantiques". It was made in France and featured on that season's runway

The blouse is unlined silk, with balloon sleeves that have elastic cuffs and a wide keyhole neckline that ties shut. It slips over the wearer's head. The high-waisted full midi skirt is unlined rayon crepe. It does up the back with a metal zipper and hook-and-eye at the waistband. The set is in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
