This 1977 S/S Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche peasant blouse is from his “Les Espagnoles et les Romantiques” collection, also know as the Spanish Collection. It was made in France of semi-sheer white windowpane cotton with floral embroidered eyelet insets. Dayle Haddon wore it in that season's ad campaign, and Kirat Young modeled it on the runway. The top slips over the head and fastens with tassel cord ties at the neck and a shell button at each cuff. There is some minor wear to the tassels but it's otherwise in excellent condition, clean and ready to wear. As a bonus, we'll include its original Yves Saint Laurent at Holt Renfrew plastic shopping tote!
