This 1979-80 F/W Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche pleated skirt was made in France of black crushed rayon velvet. These crushed velvet wrap skirts were a staple on that season's runway, shown in many different colors. It fastens in a wrap style with two hooks at the waistband. We believe that it has been hemmed by a couple of inches but it is otherwise in excellent condition. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
