This Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche skirt is from the fashion house’s iconic 1960s “Le Smoking” collection. It is high-waisted, with an A-line shape, and does up the front with a zipper, and 3 hook-and-eyes at the waist. It was made in France of an unlined black wool, with a silk satin “tuxedo” stripe down each side. The original metal zipper has been professionally replaced with a hidden zipper, but the original hook-and-eyes remain. It is in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
