This blue tartan 100% wool dress is from Yohji Yamamoto’s Y’s collection. It features the Japanese designer’s trademark avant garde detailing, including an asymmetrical hemline, and a collar that is higher in the front than in the back. The collector from whom we sourced it said that she bought it for $1,200 in the early-to-mid 2000s. It is unlined, with a metal YKK zipper up the front and a pocket on each side. Made in Japan, it is in excellent condition, with little-to-no wear, has been professionally dry cleaned, and is ready to wear.
