This 1991-92 F/W Valentino Boutique three-piece suit was made in Italy and originally sold at Holt Renfrew. Linda Evangelista wore a very similar version on that season's runway.
The set consists of a sweater, skirt, and jacket. The blue wool jacket is lined and fitted, with a green ribbon trim, rounded lapels, and two front pockets. It fastens with two buttons at the waist. Built-in shoulder pads give a structure that contrasts with the tapered waist to create an hourglass silhouette. It's worn over a blue wool knit long-sleeve pullover sweater with green ribbon around the neckline. The high-waisted pencil skirt is made of lined blue wool, fastening with a zipper in the back and button at the waist. The suit is in very good condition, has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
