This Valentino Boutique coat is from his 1989 F/W collection, and was featured on that season's runway. It was made in Italy from navy blue ribbed wool, with the top lined in silk crepe. It features built-in shoulder pads, two faux pockets, and an accordion-pleated skirt. It does up the front with seven abalone shell buttons and has an additional button on each cuff.
It's in very good condition - there were two repairs done to the wool near the front hem; both are hidden in the pleats. It has been professionally dry-cleaned, and is ready to wear.
