1980s Red Plaid Silk Taffeta Ruffle Collar Blouse

This 1980s Valentino Miss V blouse was made in Italy of red, black and blue silk taffeta. It features a dramatic Pierrot-style ruffle collar, with a ruffle placket that fastens with five buttons. It has red shell buttons, easily-removable shoulder pads, and long sleeves with a button at each cuff. The blouse also comes with a detachable ascot tie, which helps prop up the ruffle collar.

Overall, the blouse presents well but has a few flaws to note: there was a repair made under the left side of the collar that isn't visible during wear, an area on the left sleeve had three small slits which have been reinforced with a patch (this is very discreet), and there's some minor wear around the edges of the cuffs. We've adjusted the price to reflect these imperfections. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
