1984-85 F/W Houndstooth Wool Balloon Sleeve Top

This 1984-85 F/W Valentino Boutique top was made in Italy of unlined wool flannel with a cream and black houndstooth print. We were able to date it by spotting similar design features in that season's ad campaign (see the last photo.) It features a ruched yoke, balloon sleeves and a ribbed elastic cuffs and waistband. It has a breast pocket, 22 decorative buttons and a zipper up the front. It's in excellent condition, clean and ready to wear.
