1940s NWT Snakeskin & Silver Filigree Box Bag

This 1940s box bag by Tyrolean New York is, incredibly, new with tags. The top, bottom, and strap are made of genuine snakeskin, and the frame is filigree 24k gold-plated metal in a silver tone. The top opens with a clasp and has a built-in vanity mirror. The interior is lined in rayon and has one pocket. The bag measures 5.5" x 4" x 4", with a 16" long strap. This bag has never been used. However, there are some light scratches on the metal, wear to the fabric lining of the strap, and a couple of marks on the corners of the mirror. These are all simply due to age, not wear. It remains in very good condition for its age.
