This true haute couture cocktail dress by French designer Torrente dates to the late 1980s-early 1990s and is completely hand-finished. The blue silk chiffon top has a silk lining, lace overlay and blue iridescent sequins. The textured silk taffeta skirt has a large dramatic bow on the left hip. There is an interior cinch belt. The dress does up the back with 12 small buttons and a metal Eclair zipper.
Overall, it is in very good condition. It is missing one of the buttons in the back, and there is some minor sequin loss that is only noticeable under close inspection. There is also some very light staining on the inside lining. We have chosen to leave it as-is in order to preserve it in as original condition as possible, and have reflected these imperfections in the price.
