This 1986-87 F/W Thierry Mugler high-neck dress was made in France of a silver 63% acetate/37% rayon satin. It has a number of design features exemplary of this Mugler era, including a built in sash down the right side, balloon sleeves with pointed cuffs that fasten with two snaps, and snaps fastening down the right side and shoulder. There is also a back left pocket, a quirky feature for a formal dress.
Overall, it's in good, wearable condition with some flaws to note: there is some general wear throughout the fabric, some minor discolouration in some areas, and a small repair made near the back hemline. It appears to be missing its original belt and shoulder pads. We have priced it accordingly. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
