This 1970s psychedelic caftan is one of the most show-stopping pieces we've ever discovered! It is unlabeled but "Miss Egypt" is embroidered near the front hem, as well as "Cairo" in Arabic at the right breast. The colorful design features an Ancient Egyptian motif amongst bright geometric shapes. It's made from natural cotton with hand-embroidered yarn, and slips over the wearer's head and does up with a hook-and-eye at the neck. The dramatic large rectangular sleeves create a formidable shape. There are a few light marks on the sleeves but it is overall in very good condition.
