Pierre Cardin
1969 Space Age Silver Buckle Black Patent Leather Belt
Sold Out
This 1969 Pierre Cardin space age belt is truly iconic, with the same one being held in the Philadelphia Museum of Art's collection. It's made of black patent leather with a 3.75" round silver metal buckle with two clear acrylic bubbles. The buckle is signed "PIERRE CARDIN" and the leather is signed "Pierre CARDIN PARIS." It measures 2.75" wide, and fits 30.25" to 34" waists.
It's in "as-is" condition: the acrylic bubbles have been visibly re-glued, the leather interior is peeling around the edges, there are scratches on the metal, and a tear between two of belt holes. Please review the photos. It has been priced accordingly.
