Paraphernalia by Betsey Johnson
c. 1967 Documented Blue Polka-Dot Jacket & Pant Set
Sold Out
This iconic Paraphernalia by Betsey Johnson jacket and pant set dates to c. 1967. The wide-leg version was photographed on Twiggy in the Paraphernalia boutique and also used in their ad campaign. It was union made in the U.S.A. from blue & gray polka-dot textured jersey. The jacket is lined in blue satin rayon and the pants are unlined.
The jacket does up the front with six large round plastic buttons, has a small pocket on each cuff, and a bow at the neck that snaps into place. The high-waisted pants do up the left side with a hidden zipper and two hook-and-eyes at the waistband. The hook-and-eyes on the pants appears to have been replaced. The set is in very good condition, clean and ready to wear.
