This 1971 S/S Missoni shawl is an iconic pieces from the beloved Italian fashion house. It's black jersey with a floral, bird, and butterfly print in the style of 1920s Chinese piano shawls. Versions of the shawl are very well-documented, as they were featured in various magazine spreads and ad campaigns that year. It's one size fits all, with the back length measuring 49.5" (45.5" without fringe). There were a few small holes repaired around the shoulders, some small stains, and some snags. These imperfections are discreet due to the busy pattern, though we have factored them into the price. The shawl remains in very good and highly-wearable condition.
