These late-1960s/early-1970s Mayfair by Mamar slim fit boots were made in Italy of genuine black suede. They reach mid-calf height, with rounded toes, 2.25" high block heels and 11 decorative rounded gold-tone metal buttons down the front of each boot. They actually fasten with zippers up the back.
Overall, they present beautifully but do have a few flaws to note: there's a hole in the suede on the inner right boot, as well as some speckling in the suede on the inner right calf. The top button on the right boot has been replaced with a similar gold-tone button. On the other hand, the suede remains soft and supple and the heel tips have been replaced.
