1990s Red Raw Silk Halter Pant Suit

This 1990s Max Mara red pant suit was made in Italy of a red acetate/silk blend that feels very similar to pure raw silk. The halter neck top ties at the back of the neck, and the top does up with four shell buttons in the front. The high-waisted trousers fasten at the left side with a concealed zipper and hook-and-eye on the waistband, and feature a pleat down each leg. Three of the buttons have very minor chips (please see the last photo), but overall the set is in excellent condition, professionally dry cleaned and ready to wear. (Please note that the dynamic nature of the fabric made the exact shade of red difficult to photograph.)
