1966-67 F/W Checkered Gray Wool Bouclé Skirt Suit

This 1966-67 F/W Jeanne Lanvin by Maria Carine skirt suit was made in France of fully-lined wool bouclé, and originally purchased at Holt Renfrew. The dress version was featured in that season's advance preview. It has a light and dark gray checkered print with brown outlines. The collared jacket has faux flap pockets and two buttons fastening the front. The high-waisted pencil skirt fastens at the back with a zipper and hook-and-eye at the waistband.

Overall, the suit is in very good condition. The skirt appears to have been altered: the lining isn't original, the zipper has been replaced, and it has been hemmed. There have also been some repairs done by hand to the seams in the jacket's lining. Please note that only the jacket is labeled. The suit has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
