Josefa
1970s Mexican Hand-Embroidered Striped Cotton Caftan
Sold Out
This 1970s Josefa caftan maxi dress was handmade in Acapulco, Mexico of unlined cotton with a raw feel to it. The designer label has been removed but this is a known Joesfa design. It features satin ribbon accents, playful appliquéd patches and hand-embroidery throughout, including a snake on the left sleeve. It has multicolor stripes with a plaid print, a V-neckline, and flared sleeves. It's in very good condition, with just some minor wear to the ribbon at the neckline (see the last photo). It's clean and ready to wear.
