1999 S/S Black Crepe Cross-Back Bias Cut Dress

This 1999 S/S John Galliano bias cut sleeveless dress was worn by Colette Pechekhonova over a white blouse on that season's runway (see embedded video.) It was made in France of a black 68% acetate/32% viscose crepe blend that fastens up the left side with 18 fabric-covered buttons. The fabric hugs the body and flares out at the hemline. Other features include an exposed back with cross-back straps and a cowl neckline. The fabric is a bit worn on one of the buttons but it's otherwise in excellent condition, clean and ready to wear.
