Lanvin
1960s Mod Green Plaid Wool Cape
Sold Out
This 1960s mod cape by Jeanne Lanvin is hand-sewn from green, mustard, white and black plaid wool. The top is lined, and it does up the front with two large silver buttons. The label reads “execute par maria carine sur autorisation speciale.” Maria Carine was the company that worked with Lanvin to make ready-to-wear pieces based on their couture designs during the 1960s. Made in France, the cape is in excellent condition, with only some very minor discolouration on the lining that is invisible during wear. It has been professionally dry-cleaned, and is ready to wear.
