This mod 1960s dress was designed by British designer John Bates for his label, Jean Varon Prêt-à-Porter. Made in England of black pure cotton, it has sheer balloon sleeves and a ruffle tuxedo-style front. The back fastens with a metal Lightning zipper and there are two snaps on each cuff. It's in very good condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
