1985 F/W Runway Black Silk Satin Babydoll Dress

This 1985-86 F/W Jean Paul Gaultier for Gibo babydoll dress was made in Italy of an unlined black silk satin. It slips over the wearer's head and does up with four buttons at the neck, as well as an additional two buttons on each cuff. It features a Peter Pan collar and pleated skirt. The white collar add-on (as seen in the runway photo) is missing. There are seven shell buttons inside the neckline where it would have attached. Overall, it is in very good condition, other than a couple of very minor imperfections to the silk. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
