Jean-Paul Gaultier
1987 S/S Skull Print Black Cotton Light Jacket
Sold Out
We believe this Jean-Paul Gaultier pour Gibo corseted top to be from the 1987 S/S collection, as a similar skull and crossbones print was featured on that season's runway. Gaultier himself was photographed wearing a top with the same print in 1988 and 1989. It was made in Italy of black cotton with a cream skull novelty print, and could be worn either as a light jacket or as a blouse. It's collared, with five hidden buttons up the front, an abalone button at the neck and a button on each cuff. The bottom is lined in quilted nylon, sculpting the shape. It's in excellent condition, clean and ready to wear.
