1970s Purple Viscose Jersey Dress
This late-1970s Jean Muir was made in England from the designer’s signature viscose jersey. It is purple with a fuchsia tinge; in person, it is less fuchsia than it appears in the photos. It has a low waistline, and pleating in the skirt that give the piece a lot of motion. The low armpits create a dolman sleeve. It does up the back with a zipper, and comes with the original belt, featuring a large plastic abstract buckle. There are a few dark marks on the front of the skirt that the dry cleaner was unable to remove, and we have greatly reduced the price as a result. However, they could easily go unnoticed, due to the amount of fabric in the skirt. Please examine the photos carefully. The dress is in otherwise excellent condition, professionally dry cleaned, and ready to wear.
