This 1980s Janice Wainwright batwing evening jacket was made in England of gold lurex and pink burnout velvet in an Art Deco-style floral print. The fabric is a 68% silk/24% rayon/8% polyester blend with satin ribbon trim. The jacket has an open front with no closures, and easily-removable shoulder pads. Overall it's in very good condition; there is some yellowing around the neck's lining, which isn't visible during wear. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
