1986 S/S Striped Blue & White Linen Tunic Pant Set

This 1986 S/S Guy Laroche Boutique tunic & pants set was made in France of a linen blend. A version was used in an editorial and the tunic was used on that season's runway.

The long sleeve white tunic is made from a semi-sheer 50% cotton/50% linen blend. It has drop shoulders, breast pockets, inverted pleats in the back and a 18.5" slit up each side. It fastens with six buttons in the front and a button on each cuff. The high-waisted straight leg pants is made from a blue unlined 55% linen/45% polyester blend. They have a pleat down each leg. The back of the waistband is elastic. The pants fastens at the left side with a concealed zipper and a button at the waistband. The set is in excellent condition, clean and ready to wear.
