1970s Burgundy Cotton Velvet High-Waisted Skirt

This 1970s Guy Laroche high-waisted skirt is made from an unlined burgundy velvet consisting of 70% cotton and 30% model. It has ruching around the waistband, and fastens with a zipper in the back and a hook-and-eye at the waistband. It appears that the hem was redone at some point (see the last photo), but it is in otherwise very good condition. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
