This 1980s Givenchy blouse was designed for their Nouvelle Boutique ready-to-wear line. Made in France of pure silk, it has an orange checkered pattern throughout. The front does up with five shell buttons and there is a built-in neck tie. Ruching at the shoulders and balloon sleeves help create a voluminous shape. The blouse presents beautifully but does have a couple of minor flaws to note. There is some light color bleeding in the armpits, which is not noticeable during wear, and a few of the buttons are chipped. Please refer to the last two photos. It has been professionally dry-cleaned.
