Gianni Versace
1981 Olive Green Suede & Corduroy Balloon Pants
Sold Out
These are a pair of Gianni Versace high-waisted olive green balloon pants. We believe that they date from 1981, as you can see many variations of balloon pants in Richard Avedon's iconic ad campaign that year. They're made from genuine suede, have a pocket on each side, and fasten with a zipper in the front. There are five corduroy buttons on the side of each calf and a corduroy trim around the knee that can be folded down. They can be worn a couple of different ways, depending on the fit. If the calves are tight, they have an exaggerated balloon top. If your legs are a bit longer and slimmer, they will fit closer to how they appear in the fourth photo. They are in very good condition, with only minimal signs of wear that are natural to suede.
