1970s Rooster Folk Art Novelty Print White Pant Set

This early-1970s Gaston Jaunet blouse and trouser outfit features a Scandinavian-inspired rooster folk art print. It was made in France of white cheesecloth cotton. The long-sleeve bib blouse has a pointed collar and red piping trim. It does up the front with five shell buttons and two buttons on each cuff. The high waisted trousers are made from rayon that has a linen feel and a slight flare. They fasten with a zipper fly and a button at the waistband.

The set is in overall very good condition. The neck button and one of the cuff buttons have been replaced. It's clean and ready to wear.
