This 1984 S/S Galanos evening gown was featured in white on that season's runway, and originally purchased at Neiman Marcus. The body is made from black lace, with a black silk chiffon overlay and a long piece of silk chiffon attached to the back of the waist that wraps around to tie into a bow. The voluminous balloon sleeves are made from lace and silk chiffon stripes, with a button on each cuff. The front of the bodice and skirt are pleated, and the back is sheer lace. It features shoulder pads that add structure and shape to the silhouette. The gown fastens with a hidden zipper at the front and button at the neck. It's in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
