1970s Newspaper Print Burgundy Suede Shoulder Bag

This early-1970s G. Plaza for Mino Import shoulder bag was made in Spain of studded burgundy suede with a newspaper print, predating Galliano's iconic print by almost three decades. The headline on one side says "Yoko gets her man in just 3 minutes", with the logos of the New York Times and the Daily Mail on the other side. It measures 8" wide x 4.5" high x 2.5" deep, with the strap adjustable from 29" to 32". The bag fastens at the top with a metal zipper with a ring zipper pull. It is in fair condition: the suede is worn and discolored, and there are watermarks in a few areas that have stiffened the suede. We have dramatically reduced the price to reflect these imperfections.
