These knee-high red leather high-heel boots are by François Villon, a French designer whose shoes are held in The Met. They were made in Italy in the late-1970s/1980s of a vibrant red leather with genuine lizard skin trim. The original heel tips have been replaced, and they are in in excellent condition.
