Fox and Fluevog
1970s Studded Tan Leather Wooden Platform Clogs
$750.00
These 1973 Fox and Fluevog handmade platforms are from John Fluevog and Peter Fox's first label. They were purchased from the original owner, who remembers buying them in at the original Fox & Fluevog boutique in Gastown, Vancouver circa 1973. They are handmade of wood and studded tan leather uppers with a floral design. A very similar pair is held in the Bata Shoe Museum's collection (see the last photo). They measure 5.5" high, 3" wide and 9.5" long. The size isn't listed but they fit like an 8 US.
The shoes show a lot of wear but are still structurally sound and wearable. Please carefully review the photos. The original owner has written her name on the soles with a sharpie, and the "Fox and Fluevog" signature has worn off.
