This well-documented two piece suit was designed by Karl Lagerfeld for Chloe’s fall 1995 collection. Made with pure, finely woven wool and lined with pure silk, this piece boasts both a built-in capelet and prominent collar, placed around a cut-out neckline. The buttons feature a touch of starburst-like design.
This piece was featured prominently in that year’s ad campaigns and on the runway, worn in both contexts by world class supermodel Linda Evangelista. Clearly, Lagerfeld viewed this design as hyper-relevant at the time.
