1980s Navy Fuzzy Wool Double-Breasted Coat

This Escada by Margaretha Ley double-breasted coat dates to the 1980s. Made in West Germany of a full-lined fuzzy navy wool, it has two deep pockets in the front and a 23” slit up the back. It can be worn with the collar down, or with a high neck to protect from the cold. It does up with metal buttons, and is labelled a size 38, though it’s meant to have an oversized fit. There is some patina on the buttons, but otherwise it is in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
