1980s Black Cotton Poplin Cape-Back Midi Dress

This late-1980s Ernestina Cerini midi dress was made in Italy of an unlined black cotton poplin. It features a pleated full skirt, V-neckline, and open back with a capelette attached. It has a built-in belt with a large silver buckle, a pocket on each side, and seven flat cut-out silver buttons doing up the back. It is in very good condition with only some light general wear. The black has faded a bit and there are white marks near some of the seams. Otherwise, it is clean and ready to wear.
