Early 1960's Gold Embroidered Black Wool One Shoulder Dress

A very rare early 1960’s one shoulder dress from high end Israeli designer Maskit, known in the 1960’s for promoting Arab-Israeli co-existence in their production process, and for collaborating with top fashion houses such as Givenchy, Dior and Yves Saint Laurent. This little black dress displays a Grecian influence in the true metal thread embroidery around the neck and on a short slit on the right side of the skirt. This piece is fully lined and encloses with a side metal zipper.
