Denise Bonan
1971 Loris Azzaro Design Black Beaded Macrame Jersey Gown
Sold Out
This gown was made by the Parisian dressmaker, Denise Bonan, from the iconic 1971 Loris Azzaro design. The black jersey slips over the head and each shoulder fastens with three hook-and-eyes. It has a ruched high neck with criss-cross beaded macrame that creates a waterfall effect down the open back. The slinky jersey is thin and doesn't wrinkle easily, making it great for travel. It's in excellent condition and ready to wear.
The last photo is of an orange version in Elle France, September 1971. Photographed by Hans Feurer.
