We believe this Claude Montana for Gianni Ballanti pullover sweater to be from the 1980 F/W collection, a season Montana is documented having worked for Ballanti. It was made in Italy and originally sold at H.R.'s Boutique (Holt Renfrew.) The black mohair is embellished with brass studs, a ribbed waistband and a chevron rayon knit neckline. It's in very good condition, clean and ready to wear.
