Christian Dior
1976 Documented Red & Yellow Floral Chiffon Blouse & Skirt Set
Sold Out
This 1976 Christian Dior Boutique by Marc Bohan blouse & skirt set was photographed by Roland Bianchini for N. 625 of L'Officiel Paris and originally sold at Saks Fifth Avenue. It was made in France of red and yellow floral rayon chiffon.
The blouse has wide sleeves, gold metallic braid trim, and a 7" slit up the front. It is unlined except for "modesty" panels of chiffon down the front. There is a button sewn on to the interior side seam. We believe it to be a replacement button for the neckline. The set came into our possession without a button at the neck and with the plunge neckline sewn together, but it could easily be returned to its original design.
The pleated maxi skirt is fully lined in red chiffon. It does up the left side with a zipper and a hook at the waistband. There are two small nicks near the left waistband of the skirt (see the last photo). The set is otherwise in excellent condition, has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
